Together, we'll choose appropriate reference photos to bring your idea to life. Once we agree on the project scope and cost, a 50% deposit will be needed to get started. Please keep in mind that work will not begin until the down payment is received.

How much does a portrait cost and how do I pay?

The prices listed on my website serve as a general guide for your portrait. Please note that the final price may vary based on your unique requirements, such as the number of subjects, background customization, or size preferences. Once we discuss your vision in detail, I will be able to give you a precise quote. Feel free to reach out with any inquiries regarding the cost of your artwork without any commitment.

How long does it take until my artwork is finished?

I strive to complete your commission within 7 days of starting the drawing, although larger projects might need more time. Throughout the process, I'll keep you informed about the progress of your artwork. If you have a deadline in mind, it's best to place your order early. Sometimes there may be a waitlist due to high demand, but I will always keep you in the loop. Please anticipate an additional 3-4 days for shipping.

Do multiple subjects have to be in one picture so you can draw them together?

No, that's actually rarely the case! I have been commissioned multiple times specifically BECAUSE no nice picture of two subjects (people or pets) next to eachother exists. Especially when we want to remember our loved ones who are no longer with us, it can be challenging to find that perfect picture. In such instances, what I usually do is carefully go through all available photos and merge different elements to create a unique portrait painting. It's a way to bring together the memories and create something truly special.

Will you publish my artwork on the internet?

Yes! Being a solo freelance artist, it's crucial for me to showcase my talents on the web. I display my artwork on my website and social media platforms to reach a wider audience and attract potential clients. Sharing my previous creations is a great way for clients to see my style.

If you prefer your commissioned piece to remain private, no worries! I respect your decision and offer the option to keep it confidential. Just let me know before we begin the project.

Do you also offer different sizes for your commission work?

Absolutely! There are times when DIN formats are not needed. For instance, if you have a special picture frame that you really want to showcase your artwork in, we can easily adjust to fit that. I can custom cut the artist paper to suit your preferences. If you're looking for a specific size, feel free to reach out to me directly!

What do I have to look out for when I receive my artwork?

When your portrait arrives, remember to handle it with care. In most cases, your drawing will already come mounted on a mountboard - use it to hold your artwork securely. Avoid touching the painted area to prevent smudging or damage. For optimal preservation, display your artwork away from direct sunlight. Each piece is accompanied by a leaflet with all the necessary details. 4. Your feedback is important, so feel free to suggest any final touches before completion.

5. When everything is perfect and you're happy with the result, the remaining balance will be due.

6. Once the payment is settled, your artwork will be on its way to you, and you can keep track of its journey via a tracking number.
